Activity #1: The Maze
Emperor Marcus is very nervous about the Royal Coronation because it will be his first appearance as emperor. Since he is only 14 years old, Marcus wants to look fierce and brave like his father and grandfather. When a Swindler offers to sell him magical clothes, he must decide whether to trust the magic of a stranger or the advice of his friend Arno.
Help the Emperor make his way to Arno so that he can become the Emperor that everyone needs him to be.
Activity #2: Story Mix-up
HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSON began writing and creating puppet shows at the age of 14. He wrote poetry and plays, but is best remembered for his 168 fairy tales. The story titles below are scrambled... Can you write the real title of these popular fairy tales by Hans Christian Andersen?

Activity #3: Word Find

An Emperor rules an empire, a great territory or kingdom, and makes all of the important decisions for the people who live and work there. These people must trust that the Emperor will defend the land and protect them. Some of the most famous empires are the Holy Roman Empire, the British Empire, and the Ottoman Empire.
